RE: 18V Drill and Scissor Jacks

Just get the right size socket and a 3/8 adapter that will fit in your drill. Make sure to to keep the manual jack handle in the camper in case your drill is dead.
This is the same set up I use and it works great remember to keep the manual handle and also keep jacks oiled I use wd 40. The drill I once used to raise and lower the popup we had.

RE: Fuel Issue on Generac ???

My generac has an on/off switch that if in the off position will prevent it from cranking, plus its down below the engine hard to see. Also the fuel petcock has to be turned on. just a thought

RE: Wal-Mart Camp Fuel and Lighter Fluid

I have a Coleman triple fuel stove it uses Coleman fuel, regular gas, or propane I use which ever is cheaper. Almost $9.00 dollars a gallon for Coleman fuel seems a little high but have not bought any in a couple of years mostly use propane. Keep us posted I'll have to check with local wally world to see which brand they have in stock

RE: Does a cooler like this exist?

I used a large plastic trash bag to put meats and dry stuff in to keep from getting wet, stayed dry and cool.

RE: Orthopaedic surgeons - NW US & surgical 'vacation' question

I've had both knees replaced, with no problems, I have a crushed left foot with minor pain every now and then, not much can be done with it except to fuse it but thats a last resort. I'm dealing with the after effects from a broke neck and pinched nerves to be fused later on much later plus arthritis in all the broke spots, guess its the surgeon's i've used two both did a good job put me back together so I could continue working still have about 4 and a half years till retirement. Some ppl heal better than others but Dr's do have a lot to do with it also., just my two cents.

Help Power Converter problem

I think lightning may have damaged my converter, While camping this weekend I noticed my lights were dim, and I did not hear the converter fan running, also battery was low and not being recharged. I disconnected the neg wire from battery and tried lights again no lights at all after connecting neg wire back to bat lights came on dim again. I 'm thinking new converter needed help please. I have been leaving camper plugged up while at home and think lightning may have damaged the the converter. Note all 110 items seemed to work fine just the 12 volts.

RE: Stop thief!

Thats why parks don't allow hunting to protect the wild life, thats what makes going so much fun to rest relax and see nature Fix camper so they can't get in and enjoy.

RE: Satellite guide for elevations & azimuth

I don't have a guide. However, when traveling I simply turn the tele and the sat receiver on, go to set-up, plug the local zip in and it immediately gives me both az and el. Has worked for me every time. I hope this helps. Good luck!!
I agree with Gooseneck, I use the local zip at the campground and works for me also its easy.

RE: propane tanks

On the regulator there is a flip lever that has a arrow molded to the plastic pointing to the tank it is using first.
I agree with Trailer Trash the flip lever lets you know which tank your own, also I usually just estimate amount left by picking tank up and judge by weight.
